BINGHAMTON, NY (CortacaToday) – Authorities seek help identifying smash-and-grab suspects in Broome County.

State Police are investigating two people they say broke windows in at least three vehicles and stole items including, IDs, checkbooks, and wallets. The pictured suspects allegedly committed the crimes during the day at Otsiningo Park, Veterans River Park, and the IBM Glen Trail.

State Police say the duo is under investigation by other Southern Tier law enforcement agencies. The pair were spotted in a white BMW X4 SUV with stolen Connecticut plates. Anyone who recognizes the suspects and vehicle, or has relevant information is asked to contact NYSP at (607)-561-7400.

State Police cautions the public not to leave valuables in plain sight in your vehicle.
