ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — An Ithaca mayoral candidate is picking up some new endorsements.

In the last few days, Robert Cantelmo has been endorsed by two of his Common Council colleagues, George McGonigal and Ducson Nguyen. Cantelmo, who’s currently the only announced candidate for mayor, says he’s proud of the pair of endorsements.

McGonigal is not running for another term on the Common Council. Nguyen announced earlier this year he’s running one last time.
