(607NewsNow) — William Mattar Law Offices are offering their “Safe Ride Home 4 the Holidays” program, aimed at decreasing the number of impaired drivers on the road after holiday celebrations.

Per their website, “December is filled with holiday celebrations often including alcohol. Sadly, the days between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day have become one of the deadliest and most dangerous times on America’s roadways due to an increase in impaired driving. It’s not a coincidence that December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month.”

To help people get home safely and avoid getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol, they will be giving away $20 Uber ride discount vouchers to the first 1,000 eligible registrants. Registration has been open from noon on December 20th, 2024, and will close at noon on December 27th, 2024, to eligible New York State registrants. The Uber ride discount vouchers given to the first 1,000 eligible registrants will be available to redeem from 8:00 p.m. on December 31st, 2024, though 8:00 a.m. on January 1st, 2025.
