The Bills could not dethrone the champs. Buffalo lost to Kansas City 32-29. Josh Allen had a clean game with two touchdowns and no turnovers. After the loss, Allen said he has “so much pride” in his teammates. Kansas City will face Philadelphia for all the marbles on Sunday, Feb. 9.
The Cornell Women’s Hockey team is hosting the Ivy League title. The Big Red accomplished the goal on Saturday with a 6-1 win over Harvard.
It was an up-and-down weekend for Cornell Men’s Hockey. On Friday, the Big Red beat Harvard 4-1. Cornell then lost to Dartmouth 6-1 on Saturday. Both games were heard on WHCU.
Back-to-back wins for SUNY Cortland Men’s Hockey. The Red Dragons defeated Morrisville 6-2 on Friday. Cortland then outplayed Oswego 4-3 on Saturday.
Six straight wins for Ithaca College Women’s Basketball. The Bombers beat RPI 58-55 on Friday. Ithaca then outscored Skidmore 65-55 on Saturday. IC senior Annabella Yorio led both games in rebounds.
It was an exciting victory for TC3 Men’s Basketball. On Saturday, the Panthers outfought Finger Lakes 88-86 in double-overtime.
