The Cortland County 911 Center will be at the CNY Living History Center Fire Truck & First Responder Show on Saturday, September 28th from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. There will be opportunities to interact with the 911 dispatchers that serve Cortland County, and community members will be able to ask questions, learn the daily operations, play games, and win prizes. “We Broke the Ice” Storytelling:

The History Center in Tompkins County will be open 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29th in honor of the “We Broke the Ice” display about the history of local girls and women’s ice hockey. Two local businesswomen who are mother and daughter and have played a great deal of ice hockey in this community will tell their stories at 4:00 pm in the CAP Gallery.
