WAVERLY, NY (CortacaToday) – A bench warrant has been issued for a 49-year-old man in Tioga County.

Timothy Henry, of Waverly, was set to be sentenced on Thursday, August 22, 2024, for actions leading to the nonfatal fentanyl overdose of his 8-month-old daughter in October 2023. Waverly Police say he failed to appear.

Henry was recently convicted on charges of felony assault, two counts of felony reckless endangerment, and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say Henry has multiple addresses in Waverly and the Sayre/Athens Pennsylvania area. Henry was first located and arrested in Sayre, Pennsylvania in December 2023 and extradited to Tioga County in January. He was initially held on $25,000 cash bail.
