ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A blender sold at Target has been recalled for a laceration hazard.

Vivitar Blender Bottles are being pulled from shelves after the U.S. Consumer Protection Agency received a report that the bottle can be removed from the base while the blades are still running.

Nearly 200,000 were sold online and in Target stores nationwide between December 2024 and January 2025. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product and contact the manufacturer, Sakar, for refund instructions.

Affected products have “ITEM: ES15-BB-TA” and “MID #522084” printed on a sticker located under the plastic white base of the bottle. “MID #522084” is additionally stamped on the underside of the white plastic base.
