DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – Dryden has received state support in anticipation of a future project.
On January 28, the state announced a $1.82 million grant for the village to upgrade water and sewer infrastructure. Water improvements include extending water main lines, and sewer improvements include replacing several thousand feet of pipeline.
State officials say the work will be the first phase in developing hundreds of workforce apartments known as Ezra’s Village. It’s part of more than $100 million given solely to certified pro-housing communities in this round of funding.
