ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – U.S. News and World Report has released comprehensive lists of the top public high schools in the country.

Staff reviewed data from nearly 18,000 schools and based rankings on six factors: graduation rate; science proficiency; reading proficiency; mathematics proficiency; percentage of students who took at least one Advanced Placement (AP) exam; and percentage of students who passed at least one AP exam.

The results are searchable by state, district, and location.

Ithaca High School scored 95.53 out of 100 and ranks 86th in New York and 790 nationally. Click for an in-depth overview.
