ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A pair of former Cornell hockey players will compete in the pros.

Lily Delianedis and Rory Guilday were selected in the Professional Women’s Hockey League Draft on June 24. Delianedis will play for Seattle and Guilday will play for Ottawa.

The two join former Cornell standouts Izzy Daniel and Kristin O’Neill in the league, which officially began play in 2024. The league was founded in 2023 by billionaire Mark Walter, who recently agreed to buy the Los Angeles Lakers for $10 billion.
