NEWFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) — Newfield is still searching for a new superintendent. 

District Superintendent Lily Talcott at TST BOCES is helping the district’s school board find a replacement for Eric Hartz. 

The process is lengthy and includes a lot of local input.

Hartz announced his retirement several months ago. Talcott also helped Trumansburg find a replacement for Superintendent Kimberly Bell, who’s stepping down in January. Megan Conaway was chosen as her successor.
