CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — The National Weather Service is assessing damage in Cortland County from severe storms that tore through the Southern Tier on Wednesday.
In Cortland this morning, the cleanup begins. There are reports of property damage. Mayor Scott Steve says the city’s DPW crews will spend the next several days cleaning up tree limbs and other debris littering yards and streets.
Power is still being restored in parts of Cortland County. The mayor says despite the storm, there were no injuries.
