ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A recall has been issued for Trader Joe’s mango tangerine scented candles.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the 5.7 oz candles have high flames that can pose a fire hazard. There have been 14 reports of incidents regarding high flames, including three reports of minor property damage and two reports of minor burns.

The candles have a product SKU 56879 located on the bottom of the tin container. More than 650,000 were sold nationwide in June 2024. Customers can return them to any Trader Joe’s location for a full refund. You can also complete an online form to receive a Trader Joe’s gift card by mail.
