Ithaca Police seek suspect in Asteri Building stabbing:  Ithaca Police seek a suspect in a stabbing. Officers say the male victim was found with a stab wound in the chest inside the Asteri Building on East Green Street just before six o’clock on Tuesday, October 15th. Read the full story here.

Tompkins County legislators approve new administrator: Korsah Akumfi is the next Tompkins County administrator. A unanimous vote last night in the Legislature made it official. After recording the votes, Legislative Chair Dan Klein delivered the good news. Read the full story here.

Ithaca proposes $107M budget for 2025: An Ithaca leader is shedding light on the city’s proposed budget. Alderperson Patrick Kuehl said the 2025 spending plan is around $107 million. He said it includes raises for city employees. Read the full story here.

GIAC, Red & White Cafe receive $750,000 boost in state funding: State funding will benefit the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) and a historic building in Ithaca.
