ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Tompkins County SPCA has put out an urgent call for help.
The Ithaca adoption center says the shelter is filling up fast, and they’re facing a “serious space crunch.”
To help make room for the incoming animals, all adoption fees are waived through July 31 for dogs that have been at the SPCA for 90 days or more.
They’re also in need of foster volunteers, especially for kittens, puppies, and nursing moms, as well as canned food for kittens and puppies.
The adoption center is open Wednesdays through Sundays.
