ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – The Tompkins County Board of Health (BOH) is looking to fill an at-large vacancy.

The BOH consists of eight volunteers who serve as the governing body for the Tompkins County Whole Health Department. Terms are typically six years, though the current opening is for a term that ends in December 2027, with an option to reapply for a full term.

Candidates “with diverse perspectives who seek to engage in public health issues impacting our community” are encouraged to apply.
