ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Tompkins County is looking back at five years of COVID-19

The county’s first reported case was March 14, 2020. Rachel Buckwalter with Tompkins County Whole Health tells WHCU everything happened quickly. 

Testing in the early pandemic days was limited.

Eventually, Cayuga Health would open a drive-thru testing clinic that allowed thousands of people to get tested for the virus.
