ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Tompkins County is recruiting shelter workers.

County Administrator Lisa Holmes is encouraging people with experience in human services to apply.

The positions involve overnight hours.

“We anticipate the operations will be from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.,” Holmes said.

The shelter will be open during cold-weather nights in the winter. It’ll be on North Tioga Street in Ithaca.
