ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Tompkins County DA’s office is short-staffed. 

District Attorney Matt Van Houten tells WHCU he’s been looking for attorneys for over a year. 

Van Houten adds his staff is overworked and that filling those positions in 2025 is a challenge.
