ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Threats directed at local school districts are being investigated.

On September 26, Superintendents at Lansing, Ithaca, Dryden, and TST BOCES all received an email suggesting a school shooting was possible at an unspecified district in the county.

Each district contacted law enforcement, who found the threats to be non-credible after investigation, though Dryden was locked down temporarily.

It follows similar threats made in local school districts and Cornell earlier this month, which were found to have originated overseas.
