ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office has announced charges for a pair of alleged thieves in Lansing.
Robert Snyder, 25, of Lansing, and 29-year-old Victoria Rose, of Pennsylvania, were arrested on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at a business on North Triphammer Road. They were suspects in a multi-county theft investigation.
Snyder is charged with three felony counts of possession of stolen property as well as three misdemeanor counts of the same crime. He was issued an appearance ticket and released to the NYSP and Ithaca Police for investigations.
Rose, who allegedly stole a car and struck a deputy during her capture, is facing four counts of felony grand larceny, felony attempted assault, felony attempted assault upon a police officer, misdemeanor attempted grand larceny, misdemeanor unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and misdemeanor obstructing governmental administration.
Rose was remanded to Tompkins County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office said in a release they’ll “continue investigating numerous unsolved thefts while reviewing possible connections to the defendants.”
