ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Tompkins County Public Library will host a trauma and survivorship workshop.
The free, grant-funded program will discuss trauma and its effects on survivors and focus on strategies for support. Topics will also include self-care skills and how to avoid burnout.
Librarian Karina Hagelin will host the workshop. It’s part of the library’s Information Saves Lives project, which includes NARCAN training.
Survivor 101 runs from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 13 in TCPL’s BorgWarner East room. Registration is encouraged but not required.
