DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — The TC3 women’s basketball team is introducing its new head coach.

Willie Fann will lead the Panthers. He was an assistant coach for the team last season.

“I am excited for this opportunity,” Fann said. “We have a strong incoming class, who, along with our returning players, will be ready to do exciting things this year.”

Fann is replacing Jocelin Wright, who’s leaving TC3 to become an assistant coach for the Colgate women’s basketball team. Wright said she’s “ecstatic” to join the Raiders.

TC3 had an overall record of 7-13 last season. The team was 5-4 at home.
