ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell women’s lacrosse team is no longer on a four-game win streak.

On Tuesday, the Big Red lost to Syracuse 10-8. Cornell led the game early, until Syracuse scored five straight goals midway through the contest.

Syracuse sophomore Caroline Trinkaus tallied three goals in the victory. Her teammate, junior Ashlee Volpe, had three assists.

Cornell will look to bounce back Saturday against Princeton. The game begins at noon in New Jersey.
