SYRACUSE, NY (607NewsNow) — The Syracuse Mets are sizzling.

On Sunday, Syracuse outscored Worcester 2-0. The Mets have won seven of their last eight games.

Syracuse allowed just two hits in Sunday’s victory. Right-handed pitcher Jack Weisenburger was credited with the win.

The Mets next head to Lehigh Valley for a six-game series, which begins on Tuesday.
