CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Two people recently arrested in Tompkins County face charges in Cortland.

Investigators with the Cortland Police Department say Victoria Rose and Robert Snyder obtained memberships at local gyms, took car keys from the locker room, and stole personal items from other members’ cars, including jewelry, cash, and credit cards. The alleged crimes happened between late October and early November.

The 29-year-old Rose and 25-year-old Snyder are charged with six counts of grand larceny, seven counts of identity theft, and six counts of criminal possession of stolen property, all felonies. They are additionally charged with 13 misdemeanors, including five counts of conspiracy.

Robert Snyder was arraigned and released on November 27, 2024, to return to Cortland City Court. Victoria Rose, currently in Cayuga County Jail on separate charges, awaits arraignment in Cortland.

The pair also face multiple charges in Tompkins County, where they were arrested last month outside Planet Fitness in Ithaca.
