LANSING, NY (CortacaToday) — Leaders in Lansing are looking at a green energy project.

The town’s Planning Board is reviewing paperwork for solar panels on North Triphammer Road. Applicant Mollie Messenger believes the project would not be a nuisance.

“Solar panels in general want to be good neighbors,” she says. “They don’t want to make anybody mad or be loud.”

The board is encouraging residents to give feedback. A public hearing is scheduled for July 10.
