ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A Wayne County man faces a felony charge.

The Ithaca Police Department says Marcus Beane walked into a business around midnight Thursday on South Cayuga Street. Officers say the 40-year-old passed a note to an employee demanding money and threatened to use an unknown weapon.

Beane was charged with robbery and was taken to the Tompkins County jail without bail.
