ENFIELD, NY (CortacaToday) – A new spot for recreation is coming to Enfield.

Construction on a skate park in Enfield is underway. The town received a $5,000 Parks grant from Tompkins County to aid the project.

“We have a very talented man named Dan Woodring who is designing this,” said Town Councilperson Robert Lynch, who added that the town was finalizing design plans last week. Lynch says the park will be simple at first but, could grow and evolve over time.

Tompkins County currently has one skate park along South Meadow Street in Ithaca.
