DRYDEN, NY (CortacaToday) — A current lawmaker is remembering a former mayor.

Tompkins County Legislator Mike Sigler says he recently learned of Reba Taylor’s passing. Taylor served as mayor of the village of Dryden. Sigler writes on Facebook that Taylor was a ‘model of public service’ who put the village ahead of politics.

Taylor died on Saturday.
