ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Police are investigating a shooting in Ithaca.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired and a wounded person in the 300 block of West Buffalo Street around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024. A victim was located with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and transported to a regional trauma center. The suspect fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement.
The Ithaca Police Department says the incident does not appear to be random, and the investigation is ongoing.
