CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — The Fourth of July is around the corner, and calls to law enforcement about fireworks increase every year. 

Cortland County Sheriff Mark Helms explained why recently on Ithaca’s Morning News.

Most of the calls are noise complaints.
