ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Tompkins County has fresh food vouchers for older adults.

The Office for the Aging (COFA) has $25 coupon books available for adults over 60 through the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.

You can pick them up at COFA, located at 214 West State Street in Ithaca, through September 30. The coupons are valid through November 30.

COFA officials say participating markets or farm stands will have signs stating that they accept the coupons. You can have someone else redeem your coupons if you’re unable to travel.

Financial Eligibility

  • 1-person household: $2,413 a month
  • 2-person household: $3,261 a month
  • 3-person household: $4,109 a month

The booklets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at COFA from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
