BUFFALO, NY (607NewsNow) — Hockey fans are making an impact in Buffalo.

On Tuesday, the Sabres beat the Canucks 5-3 at the KeyBank Center. It was Buffalo’s first home game of the new year.

Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff said the atmosphere was electric.

“The energy was great in the building,” he said.

The Sabres have seven more home games this month, including a clash with Ducks on Saturday.
