RICHFORD, NY (607NewsNow) — A Tioga County town is hoping to receive funding.

Richford is applying for a $30,000 grant from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation. The money would help replace the roof on the large pavilion at Rawley Park.

Elsewhere in the region, Cortland is receiving $242,000 in state funding. The money will help demolish the old Roundhouse Mill.
