ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca College is looking closely at numbers.
The Ithacan reports the school began working with a consulting group in October to address shrinking enrollment and a budget deficit. During the State of the College meeting earlier this fall, President La Jerne Terry Cornish said the study isn’t solely focused on reducing costs.
IC has faced a deficit for the past three years, and enrollment has declined since 2020.
