ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A popular alcoholic beverage company is pulling one of its products off the shelves.
High Noon has recalled two lots of its Beach Variety Packs because a packaging supplier mistakenly shipped the wrong cans, which could lead to unintentional alcohol consumption. The product was shipped to six states, including New York, between July 21 and July 23.
Officials say the packs contain what appear to be Celsius Astro Vibe Sparking Blue Razz energy drinks that were mistakenly filled with vodka seltzer. The affected Celsius cans will have a silver lid instead of a black one, and the lot codes are laser-engraved onto the bottom of the can.
Consumers are advised to ensure any can of Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz they purchased does not have the affected lot codes, even if it was not in a High Noon Beach Variety Pack.
