PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — A Preble lawmaker is receiving recognition.

Town Supervisor Jim Doring said Town Board member Dave Morse did a fine job landscaping at Preble Town Hall.

“He spent a lot of hours out there raking, pulling weeds, putting down new mulch,” he said.

Doring said Morse saved the town “at least $3,000” by doing the work himself.

The Town Board collectively thanked Morse on June 9.
