PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — The Preble Planning Board has a full plate tonight.

The group will review a draft zoning law which includes a new hamlet district. The proposed district involves the properties around Route 281 and the crossroads of Route 281 and Preble Road.

The mixed-use district would allow businesses to coexist within a residential zone to provide basic services.

Board members are inviting residents to participate in the discussion. It begins at 7 p.m. at Preble Town Hall.
