(607NewsNow) — This week, our pets of the week start with Reba (Top L) and Candy Kiss (Top R) from CNY Snap. Reba is a vocal girl who knows what she wants and is very sweet and affectionate once you get to know her. She had been adopted and returned. Although many volunteers were happy to see Reba, everyone was heartbroken that she once again found herself back at the shelter. She loves attention and doesn’t like to share, so a home without other cats would be best for her. She is spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines.
Candy Kiss is a gentle and calm girl who loves to be pet. She was found as a stray kitten in August 2023 hanging out at the drive-in looking for someone to spend date night with. Being laidback, she would be a good fit as a family pet. She greets everyone at the shelter door when they come in and is very friendly. Candy Kiss has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.
Next, we have Spike (Bottom L) and Jasper (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Spike is a little over seven years old making him a senior dog, but he has enough energy that you wouldn’t think so. He is very affectionate and always ready to share the love with whoever wants it. He is goofy and can usually be found making people laugh with his antics. Spike is cuddly, sweet, and good with kids, making him a good fit for a family looking for a new companion.
Jasper is a little over two years old and can be a little shy at first, but will be your best friend once he warms up to you. He has lots of energy and loves to play, but also likes to strike a good balance between play time and cuddling. He is friendly, sweet, and curious, loving to explore and find new toys to play with. Jasper has a big heart with lots of love to give and will be sure to keep you entertained.
