(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Sylvester (Top L) and Link (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Sylvester is a calm boy that’s about 1.5 years old. He came to the shelter as a young stray kitten surviving on his own in July 2024. He hangs around quietly in the shelter and can be pet. As he never had a home of his own and wasn’t able to run around freely when he was younger, a calm home where he can get comfortable and explore would be ideal. Sylvester has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Link is about 3 years old and was surrendered in April after his owner could no longer keep him. He’s an absolute sweetheart who loves hanging out and being pet. He follows volunteers around, meowing to get attention. He’ll even go so far as to hiss at other cats to get more pets for himself and will climb on people’s shoulders to get some more love. Link has also been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Next, we have Blue (Bottom L) and Sunny (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Blue is 2 years old and is a bundle of energy. With a big heart and a big personality, he is very curious, playful, and friendly. As much as he loves to roam around and play, he loves cuddling with his favorite people just as much.

Sunny lives up to her name as she is warm, gentle, and full of joy. Very loving, polite, and easy to get along with, she is a perfect companion for anyone who wants a sweet and loyal dog. She loves to play just as much as she loves to cuddle, and has no problem showing her affection.
