(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Farrah (Top L) and Myriam (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Farrah was a stray rescued as winter was approaching in November 2024. She’s extremely friendly and hangs around waiting for pets, always looking to get some attention. She would make a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a cat that is not shy about wanting affection. Farrah has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.

Myriam and her family arrived in October 2024 after they were rescued from living outside. She’s about 4 or 5 months old and needs a home where she can experience being a carefree kitten. She could benefit from having a home with another feline friend, maybe her mom or one of her siblings (Cassie, Aaron and Axel)! She is calm and gentle. The busy atmosphere can be overwhelming for a young cat, so she usually relaxes off to the side with her siblings and mom where it’s quieter but can still be approached. Myriam has also been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.

Next, we have Raven (Bottom L) and Bingo (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Raven is about six months old and came into the shelter as a stray. She displays typical puppy behaviors such as chewing, jumping, and has high energy. She will need someone who is willing to take the time to train her. Raven is a very sweet girl who loves everyone and has an outgoing, bubbly personality.

Bingo is about 7 months old and displays typical puppy behaviors. She will need basic obedience training and house training and will become a great companion for the right people. She loves attention and wants to be in your lap all the time, not shy of looking for affection.
