(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Kennedy (Top L) and Julian (Top R) from CNY Snap.
Kennedy is about two years old and was trapped at Cornell’s Kennedy Hall in May 2022. He originally wasn’t very trusting of humans but after being at a foster placement for months, he has turned into the biggest sweetheart. He’s still a little shy but can be picked up. Kennedy has had two major ear surgeries that he suffered some hearing loss from and must be an indoor only cat. He has been neutered, tested negative for FIV/FELV, and is microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.
Julian is about four years old and had a very sad start to life. He was living in a cage in a basement and was surrendered to the shelter in November 2024. It’s time for this boy to finally experience life in a loving home he can wander with humans that will take good care of him. He was a little nervous when he first arrived at the shelter, but now he runs to greet people, is curious about what volunteers are doing, and loves to be pet. He has been neutered, tested negative for FIV/FELV, and is microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.
Next, we have Little Rascal (Bottom L) and Azura (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Little Rascal is a little over three years old and has been neutered. He is playful, sweet, and is ready to find his forever home with people ready to give him some attention and affection.
Azura is about three years old, spayed, and is a little shy at first, but very loving and affectionate once you give her some time to get comfortable. She loves to play and get lots of pets, so she would be a good fit for someone wanting a cat that loves to cuddle.
