ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Crane work will shut down part of a road in Cornell through early November.

On Monday, October 28, 2024, crews will begin on Hoy Road, which will be closed to all traffic south of the parking garage towards Dryden Road. The pedestrian walkways in that area will also be closed. The stairs near Dwyer Dam Bridge to the Crescent lot will remain open. Cornell officials say access to Rhodes, Upson, Phillips, and Duffield Halls will be maintained from Campus Road.

The closed portion of Hoy Road is scheduled to reopen at the end of the day on November 8.
