OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) — The clock is ticking in the Village of Owego.

Officials have until the end of December to allocate leftover funding from the American Rescue Plan Act. The money, distributed by the federal government following the COVID-19 pandemic, could go to part-time village staff.

Trustees will discuss the matter tonight at 7 p.m.

Also on tonight’s agenda is an electric vehicle charger proposal. Last month, plans were approved for more charging stations in Ithaca.
