OWEGO, NY (CortacaToday) — A new vehicle will benefit Owego’s Highway Department.

Earlier this month, the Town Board approved the purchase of a heavy-duty dump truck. It’ll cost about $290,000.

Owego Highway Superintendent Mike Roberts said the truck is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2025. He said it’ll be used for multiple purposes, like hauling sand and plowing snow.
