ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Tompkins County is looking for help removing snow.

The Office for the Aging is seeking workers or volunteers to assist older residents with shoveling and/or snow plowing. A large portion of the older population cannot maintain their driveways and sidewalks on their own, and deep snow and ice are a safety hazard for people with mobility issues.

The Office for the Aging is in need of help across the board but is especially looking for people willing to work outside of the city and in rural areas across the county.
