CHEMUNG, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tioga County man faces multiple felonies after a crash.
Terry Murray, of Lockwood, was allegedly drunk when his 2014 Toyota Tundra struck a residence around 9:25 p.m. on May 27 in the Town of Chemung.
The pickup truck caused significant damage to the structure, and two injured people needed to be extricated from the house. One occupant, 71-year-old Connie Miller, suffered serious internal injuries and was transported to a trauma center.
According to State Police, the 43-year-old Murray had been involved in a pursuit with the Sayre Borough Police Department in Pennsylvania before the crash, but they ended their pursuit after Murray crossed the state line.
Murray is charged with vehicular assault, DWI with a prior conviction within 10 years, and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was taken to Chemung County Jail.
