ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — There’s more money coming for broadband internet.

Jeff Gasper with Southern Tier Network says his non-profit group was awarded over 18 million dollars in grant money from the state to expand access to broadband in five counties, including Tompkins.

Gasper says they have until the end of 2026 to complete the installation of over 200 miles of fiber optic infrastructure.
