NEWARK VALLEY, NY (607NewsNow) — A Tioga County village is hosting a celebration this weekend.

Summerfest in Newark Valley will feature live music and lots of food, including a chicken barbeque. Groups will also take part in a parade.

Festivalgoers can toss rubber ducks in a marked vehicle during the parade for a chance to win money. The activity is aptly titled chuck-a-duck.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. It takes place at the village green and depot.
